With 12 stages, that gives the possibility of have hosting 12 different projects occurring at one time, be them movies or television shows. One then has to figure the amount of people working on certain projects of that caliber once they are in full swing. Day time television shows such as soap operas or talk shows usually employ a few hundred people while in season. Movies, depending on the size, can employ up to 1,000 people between actors and other workers at any given time during the shooting process. With these types of numbers, it is not outrageous to think that at any given time there could be upwards 5,000 people who call Dogstar studios their place of work. This is the exact type of major job market that Connecticut has been looking for. The film and Television industry is extremely popular and is attracting more and more people each year. When something major like Dogstar opens up, its draws attention to schools with strong communications programs such as Quinnipiac, Uconn and the Connecticut School of Broadcasting. With young students wanting to pursue this field, there are more of them applying and attending these Connecticut schools. So just to sum this paragraph up, Dogstar studios bring jobs to Connecticut, jobs draw attention, attentions creates students, students come to Connecticut schools. Now, is this a guaranteed system?
